Q: What is iValue?

iValue is an independent multidisciplinary leader in methods for creating shareholder value from technology.

As the name suggests, we care about the thoughtful use of technology. Our clients are senior managers, investors, technology professionals, government officials, and heads of academic or other organizations. The track record for iValue is impressive, ranging from triggering the deployment of a new billion-dollar broadband service, avoiding a bet-the-business mistake on an imaging system, to the turnaround of a major software company.

Q: Can your group help me with my business problem?
If your problem involves the strategic use of technology, the answer is likely yes. Before substantial problem solving work can be done, of course, the proper amount of staff, funds, and time have to be in place. When a problem is simple enough that we can solve it with little effort, it is done gratis.
Q: What are your typical working arrangements?

The iValue staff works side-by-side with clients in a collaborative effort. This accelerates arriving at breakthroughs and knowledge transfer. Our teams are small and our engagements short and high impact.

Offerings include seminars, consulting, labs, publications, tools, and simulations. We apply the principles of corporate strategy and finance to technology. A quantitative approach is taken with a relentless focus on increasing shareholder value, not hyping technology. Low-tech systems are as valid as high-tech.

Q: What kind of people are on your staff?

iValue staff is comprised of a diverse mixture of talented professionals who are skilled in business and technical disciplines. They can be thought of as "double majors". Most have a record of academic excellence, with undergraduate and advanced degrees from top schools.
Q: How can I join your group?
Send a resume to our recruiting team. The easiest way to do this is to e-mail it to my staff at careers@i-value.com. Our recruiting team will screen it and contact you if there are positions available for which your background is suited. Internships are offered to students considering a career in consulting.
Q: Where are you located?
iValue has offices in New York and Chicago. Some team members are located elsewhere within the US, Europe, and the Asia Pacific region. Clients served are located around the world, and our teams can also be found at their sites. The fees we charge are affordable by most executives and corporations.
Q: Do you engage in pro-bono work?
Yes. This work has been rewarding in the past and we are open to doing more. We help qualified non-profit organizations. Support is provided based on need,  potential impact, and availability of resources.
